Staff Leaving
We are very sad to say goodbye to two members of staff today. Mr Aslett, year 6 teacher will be leaving us to join a school in Sandwich and Mrs Sharon Hance, FLO, will be leaving to enjoy some time for herself. We wish them both well and would like to thank them for their help and support during their time at Castle Hill.
E-scooters, scooters, bicycles etc
A reminder that children/adults should not ride these when on school site particularly when dropping off/collecting children. Please ensure you and your children push these vehicles through school site. Thank you for keeping everyone safe at Castle Hill.
Free School Meal Voucher - October Half Term
Kent County Council have advised that parents/carers will receive a voucher for £10 for each child, during October half term. These will be sent to you on Monday 31 October 2022.
Year 2 Road Safety Programme - permission slips
Please can parents/carers ensure the permission slip is returned so your children can take part in this important event.
Term 2 - Children to return to school Tuesday 1 November 2022
Monday 31 October is a staff training day, children should return to school on Tuesday 1 November at 8.35am.
Year 3 & 4 Road Safety Talk
On Thursday 20 October Kent County Council will be delivering a talk on road safety for years 3 & 4. This will be in the school hall during the school day.
Year 2 Small Steps - Road Safety Programme
Children in year 2 will be taking part in Kent County Council's Road Safety programme in term 2. Please ensure you complete the permission slip to enable your child to take part in this important initiative.
October Half Term - Monday 24 October 2022
Children should not attend school from Monday 24 October 2022 for a week. There is a staff training day on Monday 31 October and children should return to school on Tuesday 1 November 2022.
Year 6 KIngswood
On Wednesday 19 October some children in year 6 will be visiting Kingswood for a residential stay. If you have any queries regarding the trip please speak to your child's class teacher at the end of the school day.
