FLO Info - Things to do while at home

Day 2 and the instructions from the government are much stricter now. We all need to stay at home as much as possible, unless we are key workers. We should not be visiting family or friends at their houses. Use online shopping if you can, only go out for essential shopping or medical reasons and keep at least two metres apart when you are out. Wash your hands as soon as you get home.

We are all being advised to get outside for some exercise every day too. Same rules apply, keep two metres apart and be out in the fresh air. Avoid play parks or outdoor gyms. You and your family could catch the virus from these things.

I joined in with PE with Joe on You Tube today. 950,000 of us tuned in. We could hit one million tomorrow if more of us take part! Live streamed every weekday morning at 9.00am. If you have a trampoline in the garden or a skipping rope, you could set your children some simple challenges.

Top Tip of the Day – When you have done enough school work for the day, why not encourage your children to take a look at some live webcams of animals:

This site has several live webcams of African animals in the wild, and is a great watch.

Edinburgh Zoo has several live webcams. If you are lucky you can see, a Giant Panda, a Tiger, some Penguins or a Koala; although he sleeps 18-22 hours a day!

Take care and keep well,  Emma
