At Castle Hill we believe that Uniform is very important and all children are expected to wear school uniform. Uniform provides the children with a sense of identity and reflects the surroundings that they are in. It also creates an environment where all children are seen as equal to one another.

Children who regularly play football in the playground may bring in an old pair of trainers to change in to.

 

All children are expected to wear PE kit. This is the same for boys and girls.

It is vital that all items of uniform are NAMED so that they can easily be identified.

 

Book Bags

 

All children starting in the Reception class are given a Castle Hill Book Bag. These are a really important way of sending messages and books to and from school. They should be checked everyday.

 

Jewellery

 

The wearing of jewellery in school is discouraged. The only items allowed are:

 

Small stud earings

Watches

 

Earrings MUST be removed for PE sessions.

 

If your child is unable to take their earrings out or put them back in themselves then they should not be worn. If your child has just had their ears pierced and cannot remove their earrings they will not be able to participate in PE Lessons

 

All rules concerning jewellery are for the safety of the children.
